Mermaid is happy to announce the first agreement of the year. The leading retailer within the worldwide sports market, INTERSPORT, wishes to benefit from Mermaid’s expertise within the Danish digital signage market, in its effort to create a new instore concept.
INTERSPORT Denmark A/S wishes to reinforce its customers’ sensory perception by implementing Mermaid’s instore TV solution for retail purposes. Ronnie Fusager, Retail Manager at INTERSPORT Denmark, elaborates:
”We want to create an exciting instore experience that can help us strengthen and visualise the INTERSPORT brand. The new instore TV platform will enable us to extend and optimise customer relations, as well as increase our service level. We believe the platform will help us engage more effectively with our customers, as they will feel more inspired by dynamic and targeted content”.
Positive test results, experienced by INTERSPORT International, have convinced INTERSPORT Denmark to bring instore TV into focus. Ronnie Fusager continues:
”INTERSPORT International has completed several tests in Germany to shed light on the advantages of instore TV. Results clearly reveal the ability of instore TV to generate sales. Furthermore, our own investigations have emphasised the effectiveness of the medium. Additionally, instore TV will allow us to achieve the advantages of combining and streamlining our marketing activities, which also include TV commercials and advertising.”
INTERSPORT’s new instore TV platform is expected to be implemented in early March. The deal with INTERSPORT Denmark defines Mermaid as a total supplier.
